Chris was a free spirit at heart. He enjoyed long car rides in the country, mushroom hunting for the elusive morel mushroom and hunting rocks and arrowheads. Chris had a love of all animals, he cared for the horses and alpacas at his parents' home until his passing.
Chris graduated with the class of 1988 from Dallas Center - Grimes. He participated in most sports and vocational ag. After graduation he spent his life working construction.
He is survived by his parents, Pam and James Keller and Bruce and Arlene Stanley. His sisters Andrea (Eric) Wessels and Kady (Adam) Godfrey. Nieces that he adored Claire Wessels and Ade Godfrey. A large loving family of numerous cousins and Aunts and Uncles.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family. The contributions will be given to Dallas County Conservation to be used for monarch tagging.
