Christopher Michael "Big Swaff" Swafford

Christopher Michael "Big Swaff" Swafford, 40, of Hardin, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at North Care Hospice House in Kansas City.
Chris was born on April 17, 1982, in Richmond, the son of Ricky and Lola (Robison) Swafford. He was united in marriage to Sherri Smith of Excelsior Springs on April 20, 2022; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: his parents, one son, Kameron Swafford of the home; three daughters, Jenna Swafford of Warsaw, Kaydance Swafford of the home, and Isabella Swafford of the home; one sister Kimberly Tapia of Excelsior Springs; and twelve nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Chris was reared and educated in Hardin. He worked at Crete Carrier as a Service Writer. Chris was Facebook famous touching many lives across the country with his comedic personality. He was a member of The Warriors Motorcycle Club. He always did things to the fullest unless it was housework. He loved to fish but was plagued by the inability to actually catch a fish. He enjoyed trying new things with his wife, kids, and family. He always had your back and would speak his mind. He loved the chiefs and Royals. The thing Chris loved the most was his wife and kids.
