Christopher Anthony "Tony" Telemeco, 69 passed away on July 31, 2025 in Oklahoma City. A viewing will be held on August 8, 2025 at 12:00 pm with a service following at 2:00 pm at Crawford Family Funeral Service.

Tony was born on December 5, 1955 in Washington DC to Christopher Columbus Telemeco and Margaret Ann (Moore) Telemeco. He lived in West Virginia until the age of 5, then moved with his family to Maryland where he spent much of his childhood on his family's farm in Upper Marlborough.

He married Deborah Lee Saxon on April, 23, 1975 in Mississippi City, MS. Together they had three children. Tony and Debbie just celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Tony graduated from Friendly High School, Fort Washington, Maryland in 1973. He joined the United States Air Force in 1974 and retired after serving 20 years with the rank of Master Seargeant. During his service, he spent 10 years overseas in West Berlin, Scotland, and South Korea, and served during the Vietnam and Desert Storm conflicts. After retiring from the military, he returned to college, graduating with an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Rose State College in 1998, followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Psychology in 1999 and a Master of Arts Degree in English in 2002, both from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). He then taught English and Humanities courses at Rose State College and UCO for 16 years, ultimately serving as a full-time faculty member in UCO's Department of English before retiring in 2018. Tony was an avid musician, outdoorsman, scholar, and collector. He passionately committed himself to each interest, changing through phases of his lifetime. He especially enjoyed playing guitar, singing, gardening, fishing, barbequing, following international soccer, finding the "perfect gift" for loved ones, and reading (especially the works of Shakespeare and Tolkien). He also took great joy sharing these interests with his family.

He is preceded in death by his infant son, Ian Christopher Telemeco and father, Christopher Columbus Telemeco.

Tony is survived by his wife, Deborah Lee Telemeco; mother, Margaret Ann Telemeco; and children, Rory Sean Telemeco (Melissa) of Fresno, CA and Maria Celeste Ray (Dakota) of Yukon, OK. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Killian Corona Telemeco (9), Willow Rosalie Telemeco (5), Ian Wolfe Ray (2), and Luka Kai Ray (3 mo.). He will be sadly missed by all.
