Christopher Van Zandt, a beloved husband, father, and Pawpaw, was born on March 3, 1979, in Tampa, Florida. He passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by the warmth of his family. Christopher's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments.

A proud graduate of Grapevine High School, class of 1997, Christopher distinguished himself not just in academics but also on the baseball diamond, where he showcased his talent and passion for the game. Known for his enthusiastic spirit, he fondly reminisced about his time as a bat boy for the Texas Rangers when he was younger—a memory that sparked joy and pride throughout his life.

Christopher’s interests were as vibrant as his personality. He found solace and joy in fishing and golf, connecting deeply with nature and the great outdoors. His love for traveling brought him to many beautiful places, creating lasting memories with those he held dear.

He leaves behind his sons, Aaron and his wife Ryann, Christopher, and Benjamin, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and generosity. His parents, Harry(Trish) and Debbie(Matt), along with his brother, Eric, and his sisters, Stacey, Cindy, and Stephenie find comfort in the precious memories they shared with him. Christopher was also a proud grandfather, known affectionately as Pawpaw, to his grandchildren, Parker and Elliott, who brought unbounded joy and laughter into his life. The mother of his children, Jamie, will continue to honor the loving bond they shared as co-parents and friends.

Christopher's impact on all who knew him was nothing short of profound. His warmth, humor, and love for life will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain a part of the hearts he touched. A funeral service to celebrate his extraordinary life will be held on July 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas.
