He was born in Whiteville, NC on August 25, 1965 to the late Bobby & Ann Watts.
When Chris was a young child, his parents purchased the South Seas Motel and that began Chris's long career as proprietor in the family business. Chris was a 1983 graduate of Myrtle Beach High School.
In his free time, Chris loved motorcycles, cars, especially corvettes, and was an avid Clemson fan. He was a member of the Myrtle Beach Masonic Lodge 353, Omar Shrine in Mt. Pleasant, SC, Omar Beachcomber Unit, and the Scottish Rite.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Watts.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn Watts; children, Harley Watts, Colbey Regan, and Gavin Regan (Karen).
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with burial to follow at Ocean Woods Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00-3:00 PM, prior to the service.
Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is serving the family.
