Chris Willems, formerly of De Pere, passed away suddenly on October 31, 2024, in his home in Rochester, MN. He was born December 18, 1959, to Gerald and Shirley Willems. Chris graduated from West De Pere High School in 1978.
Chris was an avid sports fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. He also loved camping, fishing and cooking. Above all, he especially enjoyed conversations, whether you were a new acquaintance or long-time friend. His smile and laugh were contagious.
Chris was an entrepreneur, running a closet installation business in Green Bay before becoming a successful independent insurance agent in MN.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley (Flaten) Willems, his siblings Pam (Jeff) Czyzewski, Paul (Mary) Willems, Julie (Chuck) Main, Bob (Lorene) Willems and Chuck (Sarah) Willems. He is further survived by 13 nieces and nephews who were very special to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Willems and nephew Brandon Willems.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 9:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating.
