Christopher “Chris” Wilson was born October 14, 1965 in Detroit Michigan to Richard and Sallie Wilson. Chris passed away on July 6th, 2025 at the age of 59 in Harris Methodist Hospital after a sudden, unexpected illness. He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas where he attended the Ben Mar School and Hill School. Chris enjoyed working at the Bally Health Club where he received several certificates of recognition for his hard work. He also enjoyed working at Presidents Health Club, TTI, and Toys R Us.
Chris loved cooking new recipes and caring for his father. While growing up, Chris enjoyed family trips to Michigan and Florida to visit his Grandparents and flying to various destinations with his family in his Dad’s airplane. Chris loved riding his bicycle in the hills of the Ridgmar area daily. He enjoyed soldering LED circuit board projects, creating lightsabers, music, and playing video games with his friends and family.
Chris was a good son, brother, brother–in–law, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sallie Scoggin Wilson, and his grandparents, A. Y. and Lucile Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas and Joe and Elise Scoggin of Petosky, Michigan.
Chris is survived by his father, Richard V. Wilson M.D., of Fort Worth; brother, Tom Wilson and wife, Sherri, of Fort Worth; brother, John Wilson of Grapevine; niece, Laura Wilson Adelglass and husband, Brett, of Austin, Texas; and nephews, Robert Wilson of Fort Worth and Nathan Wilson of Grapevine, Texas. Chris will be greatly missed by many.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025 in the Chapel at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.
