Christopher Blake Woods, born on January 12, 1987, in Port Arthur, Texas, left this world on May 1, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. He was the cherished son of Mitzi Wilson and her husband, Jeff, of Beaumont, and their family will forever hold close the memories of his loving spirit. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Woods, a loss felt deeply by all who knew him.
In his professional life, Christopher devoted himself to his career as an Operator for RTP Company. He was dedicated to his work, demonstrating a strong commitment that resonated with both his colleagues and the organization. Christopher was well-regarded not just for his skills, but also for his kindness and friendship towards others.
A man of many interests, Christopher was a fervent fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros, displaying an unwavering loyalty that endeared him to fellow sports enthusiasts. His love for outdoor sports also defined many of his happiest moments, whether spending time in nature or sharing adventures with friends and family.
Christopher’s relationships were grounded in the love he had for his family and friends. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Mitzi Wilson and her husband Jeff, his girlfriend, Brandy Corner of Orange, and his sister Shannon Barnes and her husband, Kris, of Nederland. He also leaves behind his brothers, Justin Woods and his wife, Alexandra, of Nederland, as well as Sean Woods of Nederland. His legacy continues with numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.
A visitation in honor of Christopher Blake Woods will be held on May 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627. Family and friends are invited to gather in reflection and remembrance of a truly remarkable man whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
