Age 64, on Friday, September 6, 2024. Beloved Son of Josephine N. Morris (Enzerra) and the late John J. Zaleski. Loving Brother of Steven C. Zaleski, Jackie M. (Jim) Cowan and Cindy M. (Bill) Painter. Christopher was survived also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Chris was a fun guy who was loved by many. His laugh was contagious. He loved music, singing, and going to see his favorite bands in concert; Def Leopard, Journey, Styx, Reo Speed Wagon, Bon Jovi, Madonna, and Whitney Houston, just to name a few. He was a big fan of the Steelers and Penguins, and enjoyed watching their games. He worked at multiple Wendy's locations for 20 years, where he took such pride in his work before retiring. He always had a way to make people laugh. He had many sayings like "hello dear," "how are you," "excuse me for livin'," "oh I'm sorry dear," "oh you/him/her(with eye roll)." If you know him, you have heard these many times. He loved being with his family, shopping, McDonalds(ironic since he worked at Wendy's), drinking tea and pop, and enjoying life. He will truly be missed by all of his loved ones and friends.
Family will receive visitors Wednesday 3-7PM at O'Brien's 3724 California Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Funeral Mass at Christ Our Savior – St. Cyril of Alexandria Church Thursday 10AM. Interment to follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in his name.
