Christy Hicks Obituary
Ms. Christy Lile Hicks, age 51, of Franklin, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at her residence.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory and will continue from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Christy was born on August 7, 1972 in Franklin, KY. She is preceded by her father, Chester Lile; maternal grandparents, Johnny Davis and Freddie Payne Davis as well as her paternal grandparents, Willie Hughes Lile and Prudie Jane Lile.
She is survived by her mother, Wanda Lile of Franklin, KY; a son, Trenton Hicks of Russellville, KY; fur baby, Rusty Dale; step-mother, Judy Lile of Franklin, KY; 2 step-sisters, Stephanie Yates and Stacy Keen; and several cousins.
Christy was a member of West Madison Street Baptist Church and a 1990 class graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School where she was also on the FSHS Band. She was also a former member of BPW where she was chosen as Woman of the Day in fall of 2023 and a member of the Franklin-Simpson Band Boosters. In her spare time, she enjoyed to cross stitch, create diamond art, sell Scentsy candles, and watch sports.
