Christy Ellen Lowe, age 45, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center. Christy truly embraced life and found joy in simple pleasures. She loved fishing, playing pool, and spending time with her close friends. Lake days were among her favorite ways to relax and celebrate, and she rarely missed a chance to watch football or dance to her favorite music. Christy was always the life of the party, bringing energy and happiness wherever she went. As a proud parent, Christy took immense pride in her family. She worked for the City of Oak Ridge, always on the go and able to work circles around anyone.

Christy was full of life, never shying away from a challenge. Her vibrant spirit and unwavering determination were evident in everything she did, and she leaves behind a legacy of joy, hard work, and cherished memories among her family, friends, and colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Lowe; uncle, Jimmy Chambers; aunt, Judy Mason; grandparents, Nila and RD Chambers, and Odia and Wanda Bunch; ex-husband, Wayne Jackson II, and several close friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Piper Jackson and Olivia Ghent; son, Preston Turner; mother, Shelby Lowe; brothers, David and Jason Lowe, Robbie Crowder, and Joshua Brooks; sisters, Rena Jeffers and Rebecca Brooks; close friends, City of Oak Ridge employees, Oak Ridge Police Department, Erin Davis, Rodger Flatford, Lisa Avery, John Hartman, and the Turner Family; along with many nieces and nephews.

Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm, September 28, 2025, at Clark Center Park in Oak Ridge. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. Holleygamble.com
