Naoma Lowe Obituary
Born in Penalosa, KS, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Franklin Geist and the late Mildred Marie VanRiper. She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. Her faith was very important to her as she had taken many mission trips in the U.S. and abroad with her late husband, Donald. The two of them were also involved in mission efforts through The Salvation Army over the years. She enjoyed gardening and taking sailboat trips. Naoma was very hospitable and always made others feel welcome. She loved her family and her grandchildren brought her great joy.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Lowe (Brenda), Phillip Lowe (Ashley), Steven Lowe (Ann); daughter, Susan Thompson (Thadis, Jr.); grandchildren, David Lowe, Jr. (Audra), Daniel Lowe (Trysti), Deanna Torres (Eric), Derek Lowe (Lexi), Kristen Lowe, Hunter Lowe (Kara Ann), Drake Lowe (Kate), Abby Thompson, Ross Thompson, Sean Fogner, Chris Fogner (Amanda), Morgan Magee (George), Eli Fogner, Robert Thompson (Brittney); 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lowe; brother, LaRay Edward Geist (Ginger); sister, Wilberta Mae Webb (Gary).

A funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday in the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5p.m. until 7p.m. on Monday at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Sorry to hear but now with Jesus a very sweet lady. We rented our first apartment from the Lowe´s when we got married . Will be missed.
