Christy Givens Nesmith peacefully passed away on February 7th, surrounded by the love of family and friends who held her close as she made her gentle transition. Her radiant spirit, humor, and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Christy is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Philip Nesmith of Henderson, KY; her sons Bryce Knight (Kelsey) and Blake Nesmith; and her daughter Brylee Nesmith. She is also survived by her sisters Marci Vandermeer (Daniel) and Kendra Wellmeier, along with two cherished aunties, Jane Gaines and Dawn Ashworth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell Givens (Sue) and Barbara Berry (Bob), both of Henderson, KY.

Christy had an unforgettable laugh and a spectacular sense of humor that could light up any room. Like her mother, she had an effortless eye for style and a love for expressing herself through it. She treasured time spent watching football and UK Basketball, gathering with her family, and soaking in the peace of her happy place-the beach.

Christy had the most generous heart, and gift giving was truly her superpower. She had an incredible way of knowing exactly what would make someone feel seen, loved, and valued. Whether through a small thoughtful gesture or a beautifully chosen surprise, Christy poured love into every gift she gave, leaving lasting memories with those lucky enough to receive them.

Christy will be remembered for her warmth, her wit, and her unwavering love for the people who meant the most to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to share in her life.
