Mr. Charles “Chuck” Robey Neely, age 59 of Franklin, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Franklin, KY 303 E Cedar St. Franklin, KY 42134. A memorial service will follow visitation at 2:00 PM at the church with internment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Chuck was born on March 7, 1965 in Bowling Green, KY to Ben Allen and Harriett (Robey) Neely whom survives of Franklin, KY. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Runey and Elsie Carter Neely and Jack Keen and Evelyn (Gillespie) Robey.
He is survived by his wife, Jada Neely of Franklin, KY; 4 Children, Amanda Smith (Daniel) of Bowling Green, KY and their children Ella and Everett, Tyler Rhea of Bowling Green, KY, Jordan Neely (Amber) of Owensboro, KY and their children Rayleigh, Addy and Emmy, and Ben Anderson (Andy) Neely of Nashville, TN; 4 Siblings, Jack Neely of Bowling Green, KY, Lea Neely Kirkham (Mark) of Cincinnati, OH, Jennie Neely Crousser (Will) of Hendersonville, TN and Leslie Neely Caudill (Paul) of Brentwood, TN; and 1 uncle, Joe B Neely (Deanna) of Franklin, KY.
Mr. Neely graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School in 1983. He then went on to Western Kentucky University where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Business & Agricultural Science. He farmed with his dad Ben and his uncle Joe B Neely raising row crops and registered Black Angus cattle. He also worked at Simpson Co. Bank. He was the current director of leaf purchasing for Gallatin Redrying & Storage Company Leaf Tobacco Dealers in Gallatin, TN. During his farming years he served on many community organizations. Chuck was a Noble Ruler of AGR in 1987. He was a member of Franklin Country Club where he loved to golf. He was loved and respected by all.
