Ciarra Jovan Hosey

Ciarra Jovan Hosey, 36, of CollegePark, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 5, 2025. She was born on January 13, 1989, in Harvey, Illinois, the second of two children born to Pamela Swayzer-Hosey and the late Cameron Hosey.
Ciarra was preceded in death by her father Cameron Hosey; grandfather Addison Grady Swayzer; her uncle, Leon Williams.
She is survived by her beloved son, Ethan Nasir Williams; her devoted mother, Pamela Swayzer-Hosey, her brothers Kristopher Hosey and Joshua Swayzer her cherished niece, Addison Swayzer; her nephew, Langston Hosey; and a host of countless aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Ciara grew up in East Point, Georgia, and was a proud graduate of Tri-Cities High School, Class of 2007. She furthered her education at Clayton State University eith this being her final year.
An adventurous, strong-minded, and formidable businesswoman, Ciara was never afraid to take chances. Her life's work was deeply rooted in her belief in contributing to the well-being of her family. Foremost in her life was her role as a devoted mother to her only son, and she also served as a mentor to her community. Ciara was the proud owner of "I AM SHE," a testament to her passion and skill as a stylist.
Ciara will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she impacted.
Family and Friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 am.
Service of Celebration for Miss Ciarra Jovan Hosey will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Gresham Park Christian Church, 2819 Flat Shoals Rd, Decatur, GA.
Visitation: Friday, June 20, 2025, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home, 1315 Gus Thornhill Jr. Dr., East Point, GA.
Interment: College Park Memorial Gardens, College Park, GA.
