Cinda Tamsett, 68, arrived in her heavenly home on July 18, 2024. Her parents Russell Tamsett and Marjorie Tamsett (Kiger) and her sister Linda Rich were there waiting for her.
Cinda was born in Muncie on December 3,1955, and was raised here in Delaware County. After graduating from Delta High School in 1973, Cinda went on to earn a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree from Union Bible Seminary and graduated with Honors in 1988. She retired from Ball State University on December 31, 2018.
Cinda was very involved with church, and happily served as secretary/treasurer of Tri County Holiness Association for several years and was a member of Bible Holiness Church for over 40 years, there she served as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer and trustee.
Cinda spent her retirement doing all the things she loved, spending precious time with her family, reading, tending to her yard and flowers, doing puzzles as well as dedicating time to her church family.
Cinda is survived by her son, Brock Tamsett (Lacey Depew) and her three beautiful granddaughters, Sophia Tamsett, Emilee Cox, and Ruby Tamsett; her sister, Brenda Keihn (Jerry Ford); uncle, James Kiger and aunt, Phyllis Hicks; nieces and nephew, MeLinda Coleman (Josh) Lori DuBois (Aaron) and Robert E. Keihn (Sunny); her great nieces and nephews, Destiny Barber (Mason), Chloe, Kenton, Griffin, Dylan, Kiara, Lillian, Tryntin, Alex and Brent; as well as many cousins.
A celebration of Cinda's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at New Hope Church, 2720 S. Apache Pass, Muncie. Burial will follow service at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at New Hope Church, 2720 S. Apache Pass, Muncie, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
