We come together today to celebrate the life of Cindi Marlene Cochran, a woman whose vibrant spirit and loving heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Born on February 14, 1957, in Junction City, Kansas, Cindi's journey through life was one of joy, resilience, and unwavering love. On November 8, 2025, Cindi passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family in Fort Walton Beach, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orren Thomas, Jr. and Norma Posey, and her brothers Raymond and Michael. Cindi's life was a testament to the power of family and the bonds of love. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Eddie, with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter and companionship. Her children, Priscilla and her husband Antonio, Ray and his wife Ashley, and Ginny, will carry forward the lessons of kindness and strength their mother embodied. Cindi's siblings, Debbie and Mark, along with her mother, Nita, will remember her as the beacon of light that guided their family through both celebrations and challenges.
A grandmother of exceptional warmth, Cindi's joy was multiplied with the birth of each grandchild. Maddie, Anna, Jemma, and great-grandson Koda; Andrew, Brody, Cooper, and Katie; Annmarie-all of them were the apples of her eye, each holding a special place in her heart. The stories she told and the games she played will be treasured memories that will comfort them in the years to come.
Cindi's interests painted the picture of a woman who embraced life with both hands. An avid bowler, she could often be found at the local lanes, her laughter echoing as she cheered on her teammates or celebrated a well-earned strike. A staunch Alabama fan, her spirit and passion were as steadfast as her support for her team, and her presence in the stands will be deeply missed.
Described by those who knew her as spirited and loving, Cindi approached every day with a zest that was infectious. Her enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures, whether it was a family barbecue or a quiet evening at home, reminded everyone around her of the joy to be found in the everyday. Cindi's capacity to love knew no bounds, and it was this love that made her such a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
As we say goodbye to Cindi Marlene Cochran, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for the time we were given with her. Her story does not end here, for she lives on in the memories we carry and the love she shared. Her spirit, a bright and enduring flame, will continue to guide us, and her laughter will echo in our hearts forever. Today, we honor a life beautifully lived and a woman deeply loved. Goodbye, Cindi, and thank you for everything
