Cindy Sue Boyer-Hieb 62, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her home. She was born December 30, 1961 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Patsy and Archie Brown. She attended Lafayette High School, and was working at Waldinger Corporation as the office manager. She also recently got her substitute teachers license, that she was very proud to have. She formerly worked at Chilton Place and Danford Hall, and Shelter Insurance with Kent Ahrens. Cindy married Kevin Hieb on October 3, 2009, and he survives of the home. She loved sports, playing golf, corn hole, and volleyball at Volleys and in the back yard. She loved to line dance the night away with her Sweetie, Kevin. She loved Chiefs football, and the Royals. She also enjoyed camping, four wheeling, riding motorcycles, and being outside, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved attending all their sporting events possible. She will be missed by all. Cindy was preceded in death by mother, Patsy Miller, and father, Archie Lee and stepmother Linda Davis Brown. Survivors include: husband, Kevin Hieb of the home, five sons, Benjiman (Vanessa) Boyer, Matthew (Jean) Boyer, Nicholas (Maria) Boyer, Ethan Boyer (Kori Curtis), and Bobby Hieb, 13 grandchildren, Kaden, Kirsten, Leityn, Karlei, Brantley, Madison, Elena, Easton, Carson, Kyzer, Korina, Sophia, and Emri, siblings; Randy (Amy) Brown, Rick (Laurie) Brown, Kelly Brown, Shelly Brown, Bobby Brown, Tracy Messner (Shane Ostrander), Rodney Davis, Brian Davis, Shelley (David) Burns, and J.R. Long (Shelley Owens), and uncle, Dean Parr.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Dave Long Officiating. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, MO.
