Cindy Chavez Obituary
She was born March 12, 2003 in Duplin county daughter of Simon Chavez and Isabel Sanchez.
She is survived by her fiancé, Pablo Gomez; four brothers, Simon Chavez Jr. and wife Nancy Mindez, Juan Chavez and wife Kimberly Fusion, Julio Chavez and fiancée Carolina Martinez, and Luis Chavez; sister, Dalia Chavez and husband Marco Sanchez.
A funeral Mass will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday October 14, 2025 at St. Marks Catholic Church with Father Cesar Torrez officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
Cindy, mi gorda, the sweetest soul ever. She was filled with so much love, happiness, joy… everything. Always there when you needed her, you could always count on her without a doubt. She was always the type of person to always put anybody before herself, especially the people that she really loves the most. I'm going to miss everything about mi gorda, going to sleep together, connecting our toes together, having little mini karaoke battles, getting up in the middle of the night to go grab some food, being the first ones in line at Hardee's to grab some breakfast, everything, I'm going to absolutely miss everything. But something that I'm really going to miss the most is being able to wake up to you and seeing that beautiful smile of yours telling me "good morning gordo, have a good day at work". Chico is also going to miss his mommy so very much, but don't worry gorda, just know that he is in very good hands and I'm going to take so much care of our baby. Just know that I love you so so so much gorda, and that you will forever be the love of my life. Fly so high, and please watch over all us mi gorda. May you rest in peace my beautiful angel!
