Cindy Colonna Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCrery & Harra Funeral Home and Crematory - Concord Pike on Dec. 6, 2025.
It's with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, Cindy.

Cindy was born in Ridley Park PA to Jack and Dot McNicholas on October 3,1958. She grew up in Folsom Pa. She went to Notre Dame de Lourdes grade school and graduated from Ridley High School in 1976.

At a young age Cindy started the job she loved being a hair stylist at Anna Mae's House of Beauty, Ridley Park,PA. She loved her customers especially her #1&2 Mom and Aunt Ag. Cindy worked there for 25+ years until she moved with her husband Joe to Fort Pierce, FL

After her move to FL she continued to make women look their best in a little shop in Vero Beach, but clientele were a little too "fancy" for our Cindy.

She found a new job at Indian River State College. She made great friends which was always easy for her. Everyone was her friend; and everyone wanted to be her friend. She retired in 2020 and eventually moved to Wilmington DE.

Cindy is survived by her brother Jack and his wife Maryanne. Brother Bill, sisters Karen and Dottie. She is also survived by her two Aunts, Aunt Romayne McNicholas and her buddy ,Aunt Ag.McNamara. Many cousins, who are friends and her nieces and nephews. Christine (Mike), Jack, Kelli (Chris), Eddie (Allison), Nicki (Ryan), Michael (Courtney), Jessica, Emily and many great nieces and nephews.

Cindy was a devoted daughter, loving sister and wife. She was the fun Aunt

We will be having a memorial service at a later date and will update you with date/time.
