Cindy Mosher Johnson, 62, of Ogden, Utah, passed away on March 7th after a courageous battle with Interstitial Lung Disease.
Born on April 3, 1962, to Gloria and Walter Mosher, Cindy's early life was shaped by the love and support of her parents, as well as her stepfather Carl Johnson and stepmother Marsha Mosher. In 1979, Cindy married Jeff Johnson, and they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last year. Together, they raised three children-daughters Brittney and Lacy, and their son Colten-whom Cindy adored and was incredibly proud of.
Cindy earned her associate's degree in nursing and went on to have a fulfilling 26-year career as a registered nurse at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Her passion for caring for others was evident throughout her career, which she retired from just a few years ago.
Family was at the center of Cindy's life. She enjoyed playing pickleball, hosting family gatherings, and visiting her parents' cabin in Island Park. She cherished her beach vacations, particularly in Hawaii, Mexico and Jamaica. Cindy also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and she found joy in connecting with their children. Her warmth, love, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and her legacy of caring will be carried in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Johnson; father, Walter Mosher; and brother, Brett Mosher. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Johnson; stepfather, Carl Johnson; stepmother, Marsha Mosher; sister, Lisa Holmes; half-sister, Michelle Swanson; half-brothers, Shane and Ryan Mosher; daughters Brittney and Lacy Johnson; and son Colten Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her childhood home in Mountain Green. Date and time to be announced.
