Mrs. Cindy Shalene Johnson Vaughn, 46, of Warner Robins passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Swainsboro on October 23, 1978, to Adolphus Johnson and Joann Robinson Johnson. She is preceded in death by her mother.
Cindy Shalene Johnson Vaughn Aka (our scooter baby). A beautiful soul gone so soon. She was a wonderful Daughter to Adolphus Johnson (Doc) and Iris Joann Robertson. A sister to three brothers and one sister Shane Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Michael Kevin Johnson and Kimberly Schrader. Beloved wife to Timothy Vaughn, an amazing mother to her 3 daughters Beenie, Pookey, and Pumpkin Pie. She had 6 grand baby’s Emory, Amelia, Jordan, Zotaria, William, and Timothy who loves her deeply. Cindy was born and raised up in Swainsboro Ga, where she graduated Southern Technical College. She was loved by everyone, always full of life and joy. Always helping out others even when her world wasn’t always together. She still seen the light to pulled through. She loved her children deeply they are her sunshine’s always going above and beyond for them. She loved to sing, hearing her voice would bring chills to your spine. A smile that would light up any room she walked into. Eyes of the bluest oceans. Her laugh was as warm as a hug on a chilly day. A social butterfly, fluttering one group to another, her energy sparking conversation and laughter everywhere she went. Always knowing how to have a good time, life and soul of the party. Forever loved and cherished. Her memories will live on through us all.
Cindy is survived by her father, Doc Johnson of Swainsboro; husband, Timothy Vaughn of Warner Robins; daughters, Shalene Vaughn of Dublin, Brianna Vaughn of Orlando, Florida, Jewel Vaughn of Warner Robins; brothers, Shaine Johnson of Byron, Shannon Johnson of Illinois, Michael Kevin Johnson of Atlanta; sister, Kimberly Schrader of Swainsboro; 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
