Cindy L. Marshall, 66, of Freeport passed away at home on May 2, 2025. She was born April 12, 1959 if Freeport, IL, the daughter of Melvin and Angie (Fitch) Collins. Cindy married Carl Marshall on April 12, 1992 in Freeport, IL. She was a member of Evangelistic Church of God In Christ in Freeport. Traveling was Cindy's passion and she found great joy in going all over with her husband. She particularly enjoyed her trips to California, Arizona, Florida, which included going to Disney, and Branson, Missouri, where she loved to attend the Sights and Sounds Theatre.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Carl; children Samuel, Carl, Danielle, Andreia, Kristina, and Tiffany; and three grandchildren.
Preceding Cindy in death are her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 10, 2025 at Evangelistic Church of God in Christ, Pastor Adron L. Simmons Sr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
