Cynthia Rose Tamillo, affectionately known as Cindy, was born March 4, 1956 to Stanley and Lorraine (Wagner) Tamillo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the third of five children in the family. Cindy attended Kosciusko South High School in Milwaukee; where she really enjoyed the Home Economics courses. While visiting her uncle at Minot Air Force Base, in North Dakota, during an Air Show, she met Delbert Parshall, who was an Air Force Firefighter. Shortly thereafter, they began dating and he regularly drove over 900 miles to Milwaukee to see her. After Delbert was discharged from the Air Force, the couple got married on September 9, 1972, in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee for two years until they moved to O'Neill to be closer to his parents. Three children were brought into this union; Lisa, Karen, and Paul.
After she became an empty nester, she enjoyed working part-time positions throughout O'Neill and happily "retired" in 2015
She had a green thumb and grew great gardens. Cindy took great pride in her home and enjoyed canning everything, butchering, and was a great cook. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidering, and painting on her iPad. Cindy loved watching old westerns, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. She enjoyed camping, along with travel, which included the lower 48 states, the Bahamas, Australia, and a trip to New York, where she saw the Twin Towers, three days before September 11th. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Delbert Parshall of O'Neill; three children, Lisa (Matt) Swingholm of Saint Cloud, FL, Karen (Rob Burival) London of Norfolk, and Paul Parshall of Valentine; four grandchildren, Brandi (Billy) Foxworth of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, Madison Swingholm of Washington, DC, Sabrina Herchenbach Norfolk, NE, Justin Herchenbach of Norfolk, NE; four great grandchildren, Cash, Laicie, Beau, and Waylon Foxworth; a brother, Thomas Tamillo of Milwaukee, WI; a sister, Gloria Tamillo of Milwaukee, WI; her beloved poodle, Jasper Douglas of O'Neill; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two older sisters, Sharon Hess, and Dianne Koppelman; father and mother in-law, Paul, and Marguerite Parshall; a son in-law, Marty London; her beloved poodles, Toby, Lucky, and Hudson.
