Cindy D. Bohrer Snyder, lovingly known as “Mouse,” passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas, just one day before her 67th birthday.
She was born on September 23, 1958, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Lewis Bohrer and Waldine Murdoch. Growing up in a military family, Cindy had the opportunity to travel and experience life in many places, which helped shape her.
Cindy enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, listening to country music, and two-stepping with friends and family.
She is survived by her three children — Devin Anderson and wife Linda of Cibolo, Texas; Shannon Calhoun and husband John of Okemah, Oklahoma; and Crystal Smith and husband Sean of Cibolo, Texas. Cindy also leaves behind nine grandchildren — Kristin (and husband Camden Thompson), Shianne Robinson, Lexi Calhoun, Autumn Calhoun, Hollie Calhoun, Morgan Anderson, Thatcher Anderson, Conor Smith, and “plus one grandchild” — as well as two great-grandchildren, Gunner Thompson and Addelynn Thompson.
Cindy will be remembered for her love of life’s simple joys and the lasting memories she created with those who knew and loved her.
