Cirilo Barrientos Gonzalez, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 5, 2023, in Kyle, Texas. Born on February 9, 1950, in Palmitas Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, Cirilo was the cherished son of Donaciano Gonzalez and Esperanza Barrientos.
Cirilo was a dedicated family man who loved his family. He is survived by his spouse, Yolanda Bravo, and his children Marina Grover, Ruben Gonzalez, and Monica Shirencov, and granddaughters, Sierra, Emily, Rachel, Sofia, and Keller. Cirilo was predeceased by his loving and devoted first wife, Maria Guadalupe, and his granddaughter, Olivia Marie Grover. He was a beloved brother to his siblings Incarnacion, Ambrosio, Julio, Valentin, Cornelio, Mateo, Rosario, Beatriz, Hilaria, and Marcos. Cirilo was especially fond of visiting his family and adored spending time with his granddaughters.
Cirilo was a hardworking man who spent several decades working as a ranch hand in George West, Texas. He later moved to central Texas and found satisfaction in a career in construction supplies in Buda and San Marcos, Texas. Cirilo's dedication to his work was evident.
Throughout his life, Cirilo was known for being handy, faith-filled, and friendly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. His faith in God was unwavering and evident.
Cirilo's interests included spending time with his family, particularly his granddaughters, who brought immense joy and happiness to his life. Cirilo's love for his family will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on a date and time to be announced, followed by a funeral service to celebrate Cirilo's life.
