Clayborn Carlisle of Comanche, Texas passed away on July 22, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1955 to Robbie and Marcelle Carlisle. Throughout his life, his journey took him from Anchorage, Alaska to New Mexico then Texas. Places where he built lasting memories and meaningful relationships. Clay had a big heart and an adventurous spirit. He loved sky diving, camping under the stars, shooting, and watching a good movie; usually with one of his many critters by his side. He loved making memories with those closest to him and was known for his honesty and strong morals, and the deep love he had for those around him. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend. His family feels incredibly blessed to have shared their lives with a man who led with love, and always put family first. Once you knew Clay, you had a loyal friend for life. Clay is deeply missed by his daughters, Leah and Ashley (Philip) ; grandkids, Averi and Brady; his cousin, John, who cared for him with unwavering love and support; and many family and friends who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his absence leaves an ache in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his mother, Marcelle; father, Robbie; sister, Mary Ann and brother, Michael. We will carry Clay's memory with us always through the stories we tell, the laughter he shared, and the love he so freely gave.
