Claire S. Glatz, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025,

at Grace Park Senior Living in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

She was married to the late Harry James Glatz on May 19, 1956.

Claire is survived by her children Mark (Leslie), H. James Jr. (Carol),

and Joan (Scott) Parker; and by her grandchildren, Andrew and Paul, Melaina and
Harrison, and Matthew, Kyle and Erin.

Claire was a member of the Grace Point Church, the Chapel of
the Four Chaplains, and the American Legion Knowles–Doyles Post 31, Yardley, Pa.

She was a long-time volunteer at New Life Services, and
served twenty years as President of Women's Fellowship Services at Newtown
First Baptist and Grace Point Churches.

She served as a librarian for these churches and established
a library at Asbury Chandler Estates.

In her free time, Claire knitted blankets, hats, scarves,
and mittens for people experiencing homelessness and blankets and caps for
prematurely born infants.

Claire took multiple trips around the United States in an RV

with her husband, Harry, and later travelled extensively internationally.

Services are being held for immediate family only on
Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Swartz–Givnish Life Celebration Home, 323 E.
Washington Ave., Newtown. Private interment will take place at Newtown
Cemetery.
