Claire A. Tobin, beloved resident of Garden Spot Village in New Holland, PA, died Sunday, October 30, 2016 in the tender care of Laurel View's memory support team. Claire was the daughter of the late Richard and Hazel (Griffiths) Aland and sister of the late Elizabeth J. West and dear great auntie of the late Richard A. West. She was also the beloved aunt of Craig and Sherry West of Upper Marlboro, MD and will be deeply missed by her loving niece, Robin West (David J. Saylor) of Downingtown, PA. Claire also leaves behind her cherished life-long friend, Dorothy Mauer of Blue Bell and numerous loving cousins and friends. She sang in many local churches and for weddings and memorials, sharing her of voice with the world. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and spent her life honoring The Golden Rule, and she was loved by many who will miss her sweet presence and warm smile. She was a really nice person. She was a very good friend of my mothers and she would come over for dinner every New Years Day.
