Clara spent most her life in Cudahy. In her early days she loved playing pool, darts, and cribbage. She enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Survivors include four children, Anna Austin of Nakoosa, Edward J Sluga of Antigo, Peter (Linda) Sluga of Cudahy and Agnes Halama of Independence; four grandchildren, James (fiancé Nicole Vitale) Austin, Heather (Andrew) Augustyn of Antigo, Alan (Rose) Halama, and Sharon (Mike) Stefaniak; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew Halama, Weston Stefaniak, Avia, Elliot, Joanna, and Elias Augustyn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Armbuster and a son, Joe Sluga.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Homestead Church, 710 Center Street, Antigo, WI. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Clara, please visit our floral store.
