Clara Jane Williams Boyd

Clara Jane Williams Boyd, age 83, of Dover, died Saturday, February 14, 2026. She was born on September 9, 1942, in Deer, to Cora Effie Millsaps Williams and husband.

She was a member and licensed minister of Four-Square Gospel Church in Russellville for 53 years. She was a daycare worker for Sugar Plum Nursery, she worked for International Shoe Company, and she was an excellent seamstress who loved making clothes.

She was very feisty and spirited. She loved to speak her mind. She was also very loving and caring. You knew you were loved by her if she picked on or teased you.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Thorne Logan Ray Boyd; two brothers, Guy and Glen Williams; two sisters, Bernice Archer and Niva Looney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Rev. Ray Boyd; a son and daughter-in-law, Ray II and Leslie Boyd; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Joey Delgado; eight grandchildren, Jake (Kaelyn) Delgado, Malinda (Erik) Moore, Cody Boyd, Maeghan (David) Flores, Cory Boyd, Jessica (Jason) Gaylor, Micaiah Delgado, and Mia Delgado; and six great-grandchildren, Joel, Mallory, Emilia, Elijah, Landry and Farrah.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Scottsville Word of Life Assembly, with the Rev. Arnold Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Joey Delgado, David Flores, Jason Gaylor, Erik Moore, Jake Delgado, and Kevin Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody, Cory, Jim, Bob, Bill, Dan, Andy, Aaron, and Alan Boyd, Tyler and Alex Cravens, Landon and Chase Canfield, Kannan Rego, Kameron Casey, and Frank Flores.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
