Clara Brewster Obituary
WEST MILTON - Clara Belle Brewster, 87 of West Milton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2021. Born March 6, 1934 in Lawton, KY to the late Russell Logan and Lilly Florence (Whitt) Hanshaw.
Clara was an long time member of the Open Arms Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Tipp City, Ohio. She was an avid homemaker and care-giver & her devotion to her family and selfless generosity to family and friends defined her life. In addition to her love of Christian music and going to church she enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and garage sales. Clara was a proud graduate of Northmont High School Class of 1952 and worked as an Ohio Bell telephone operator.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years John E. Brewster Sr. in 2011, sisters; Holline Mullins, Beatrice Carpenter, Mary Adams, Ruth Sell, and her brothers; Russell Hanshaw Jr, James Hanshaw, Tex Phillip Hanshaw.
She leaves behind three children, daughter; Gail Welsh, Troy, OH sons; Chet (Connie) Brewster, Piqua, OH and John Brewster Jr. Ludlow Falls, OH as well as five grandchildren; Cress, Lisa, Travis, Eric & Amy and three great grand children and a fourth due January 2022.
Service 11:00 AM, Monday November 8, 2021 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371; Pastor Bob Bell officiating. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Tipp City, OH. Visitation one hour prior to service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com
