Clara "Tidg" Faust

Clara May (Tidg) Frenkel Faust, age 97, passed away March 17, 2024, daughter of the late James Ruth Frenkel, wife of the late Philip Faust, loving mother of Emily Lewit and Dr. David (Rhonda) Olshine, caring step-mother of Dr. Larry (Pam) Faust, Judi McClea and Shelly Goldfarb, beloved grandmother of Dr. Ruth Lewit, Dr. Rachel (Chris) Olshine Frazier, Andrew Olshine, Jeremy (Dr. Rachel) Faust, Jonathan McClea, Sandy (Adam) Hollander, Melanie McClea (Brian) Cable, and Sierra Goldfarb, doting great-grandmother of Devon, Alex and Jayden McClea, Lailee and Perri Hollander, Jaclyn, Zander, Leo, and Brody Cable, Luca and Remy Faust, and Myles and Noah Frazier. Tidg and her late husband Phil were resident directors at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion Dormitory and then she became the main receptionist until her retirement at the age of 89. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2:30PM at United Jewish Cemetery of Walnut Hills, 3400 Montgomery Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45207. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday night beginning at 7:30PM at Melanie McClea and Brian Cable's residence. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash would be appreciated.
