Clara A. Fox, 68, passed away peacefully at home September 30, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Akron to Frank and Janet (Selzer) Arnold, she was a lifelong area resident. Clara graduated from Green High School and later retired from Acme, where she worked as a baker. An avid gardener, Clara enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing cards, watching crime shows and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her step-father, Arthur Fessler II; step-brother, Arthur Fessler III. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 42 years, Fred Fox; daughter, Jenn (Scott) Lang; grandson, Shane Lang; sisters, Opal (David) Myatt, Deneise (Kaylon) Shepherd, Mark Fessler; family dog, Olive; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, October 6, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
