Clara Nadine Karrasch

January 23, 1937 – November 12, 2025

Clara Nadine Karrasch, known affectionately as Nadine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Her life was defined by faith, family, and a deep commitment to those she loved.

Born on January 23, 1937, Nadine was the loving wife of the late William "Bill" Arthur Karrasch. Together, they built both a family and a business, Karrasch Rock Hauling, which became a valued part of the community. Her strong work ethic, kindness, and steady spirit shaped everything she undertook.

Nadine is survived by her daughters, Linda Utley and husband Steve, and Lori Caylor and husband Jerry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and her son, Warren Karrasch, who is survived by his wife, Cathy. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Grace Jackson; brothers, Lester, George, Earl, Carl, Floyd, Roy, Edgar, Howard, Bill, and Jim Jackson; and sisters, Lily Thomas, Dorothy Ostrander, and Anna Mae Herpel.

A loving grandmother, Nadine treasured her grandchildren-Brett Karrasch, Bradley Karrasch, Stephanie Collins and husband Travis, Lindsay Wahlstrom and husband Jon, Zachary Caylor, and Holly Caylor-and delighted in her 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Nelson, Betty Kerns, LaDonna Corey, and Evelyn Thomas, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will remember her fondly.

A faithful member of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church, Nadine found joy in serving others and especially loved helping with Vacation Bible School each summer. Her faith was reflected in her generosity, grace, and quiet strength.

Nadine found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed solving puzzles, preparing meals that brought her family together, and baking treats for those she loved. She also cherished tending her garden, spending time outdoors, and taking gentle rides on her Gator to feed the fish.

She is now reunited with her husband Bill and their son Warren, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and care that will be cherished by all who know her.
