Clara Nolan Obituary
Funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Adams EE Strigner Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will beging at 12:30 prior to service.
Born January 16, 1929 to Evard Gonsoulin and Eloise (Mouton) in Port Arthur, TX she worked as a hospital administrator and bookkeeper. Shewas a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved painting, cooking, fishing, being at the beach, dancing, bowling, playing bingo with her girlfriends, laughing, and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Derwood David Nolan, Julie Ann Nolan, Cynthia Louise Choate and husband Robert, Gary Edward Nolan and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Herbert Ross and Karen, Tami Ross and Greg, Melissa mcHugh and John, George Swanson, Keith Nolan and Jill, Jennifer Branch and Jimmy, Clint Nolan and Kelsey, Shanna Williams and Jeremy, Shelly Nolan, Samantha Eubanks and Justin, Jake Nolan, Hagen Nichols and Michelle, Jason Miller and Cassidy, Brittany Brooks and Jerry, Jakob Miller and Jessica, Corey Miller and Erin; 26 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Derwood Nolan; son, David Nolan; granddaughter, Shelly Nolan.
