Age 93, of Williamsville, entered into rest on August 27, 2025 in Brighton, NY. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Sorrento; devoted mother of Thomas (Ann) Sorrento and Diane (Joseph) Striegel; cherished grandmother of Laura (Ben) Plummer, Andrew (Jiwoon) Sorrento, Sydney (Sam) Burch and Connor Striegel; adored great-grandmother of Sophia, Ethan, Olivia and Lily Plummer and Mia and Giovanni Sorrento; loving daughter of the late Charles and Frances (nee Macaluso) Quagliana; dear sister to the late Rose (late Joseph) Mercurio, late James Quagliana and late Charles Quagliana; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was a graduate of Hutch-Tech High School and received her associate's degree. Clara enjoyed accompanying her husband at craft shows where they exhibited his handcrafted wooden jewelry. Above all, she enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. She cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and later great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 4375 Harris Hill Rd., Clarence on Saturday, September 13th, at 10a.m. (please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Annunciation Church Hope and Healing Fund for the members and victims of the tragedy at Annunciation Church, https://www.ccf-mn.org/annunciation-hope-and-healing-fund/. Condolences may be made on this page.
