Clair was born in Peekskill NY on August 24, 1947. She was the daughter of Harold L. Harriman and Elsie G. Gott.
She graduated from Northport High School in 1967. Clare lived at home with her parents until she married Albert Tobin on August 14, 1982. Albert was with her just as she was leaving us. He still resides at Mercy Healthcare Center in Tupper Lake, NY.
Clare was predeceased by both of her parents, as well as three of her siblings, Harold Harriman Jr., William Harriman, and Nancy Curcio. Also predeceasing Clare were her nephew Adam Harriman and brother-in-law Frank Curcio. She is survived by two brothers Anthony (and wife Betty) Harriman of Washington, and George (and wife Maureen) Harriman of Tupper Lake, NY, as well as her sister-in-law Debbie Harriman. Clare also is survived by nieces Angel, Tina, Gina, Lindsay, Jennifer, Laura, and Katherine, as well as nephews Frank, Anthony, John, and Mitchell. Clare also has many great nieces and nephews.
