Clarence Eshelman, 100, of Warren, OH passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born December 21, 1924, in Warren, OH, the son of Alvin and Julia (Heck) Eshelman.
Clarence retired as a millwright at Rockewell International Corp. after over 29 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II in the 91st infantry division. Clarence loved serving the Lord. He would collect scrap metals to sell and use the money to buy Bibles for third world countries. He also gave to many different world missions and outreaches.
Clarence was a member of New Hope Free Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baking. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always made sure no one was hungry.
He is survived by his children, Rosemary Parks, Arlene Hamilton, and Alvin (Brenda) Eshelman; stepson, William Lyons; stepdaughters, Susie Williams, Karen (Jimmie) Lorentz, Kathy (Jerry) Nahm, and Virginia (Raymond) Smithberger; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emzie Ann (Pulliam) Eshelman; daughter, Lynette Eshelman; son, Robert "Bobby" Eshelman; stepson, Marshall; siblings, Jasper Eshelman, Thelma June Eshelman, and Shirley Alvin Eshelman; two grandsons; one great-grandchild; and one great-great-grandchild.
There will be a graveside service at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
