Clarence Gaddy Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 28, 2023.
We lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend on 21 June 2023. Clarence (Gene) Gaddy, Jr. passed away in Georgetown, TX at the age of 82. He was born in Watson, AR in 1940 to the late Clarence Gaddy and Florence Gaddy. His family moved to Seattle, WA when he was a boy. Gene grew up in Seattle and had 7 brothers and sisters Dell, Opal, Mary, Gerald, Bobby, Paul, and Dee. He joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and served with distinction until his retirement in 1984 as a Chief Master Sargent. In 1961 while stationed at Warner Robins AF base, Gene met his wife of 61 years, Barbara. Together they endured many military duty assignments and traveled across the world to include Japan. Gene also served in Korea and Vietnam. He enjoyed motorcycle racing and riding, billiards, woodworking, Texas Hold'em, and sharing his incredible life experiences with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Gaddy of Georgetown, TX, and his children and their families, his son Scott and wife Frances Gaddy of Round Rock, TX, his daughter Gina and partner Mary and their children Max and Scott Gaddy of Georgetown, TX and Jessica and Dakota Hatcher of Round Rock, TX, and his son Greg and wife Christa and their children Wesley and William Gaddy of Madison, AL. Gene is missed deeply but we rest assured he is with our maker, and we will be reunited.
