Clarence Edward Pinnix

On Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 1:15pm, God called Home one of his servants. Clarence Edward Pinnix of 512 Joyner Street, Gibsonville, NC Blue, as he was affectionately known, was born July 29, 1946 to the late Florence Edward Pinnix and Maggie C. Love. Clarence lived in the city of Elon, NC all his childhood and adult life until he moved to Gibsonville, NC. He attended school in Alamance County and in his early childhood years, he became a member of Elon First Baptist Church. Clarence loved to fish, collect old coins and work in his yard. Clarence worked for Mr. Thomas Chandler for 53 years and instead of Mr.Chandler being his boss, he considered him as his best friend. Clarence leaves to celebrate his life: His loving partner of 52 years Dianna Murdock of the home, one sister Nancy Pennix (David) of Elon, NC, one bonus brother Vernon Love (Regina) of Atlanta, Ga., two grand daughters: Charmiece Pinnix and Saionna Lloyd; three great grand children, neices, nephew, aunts, uncles and many family members and friends. Clarence is preceded in death by his father; Florence Edward Pinnix, mother Maggie C. Love, stepfather; Robert Love, two sons; Bernard Pinnix and Clarence Pinnix Jr, sister; Hazel Walker, and one bonus daughter; Cassandra Murdock.
