Clarence Reece Obituary Reece, Jr., Clarence, 94, of Chicago. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee McCarron). Brother of the late Sievert Nasheim of Long Beach, CA. Brother-in-law of Pat (nee McCarron) and the late Jim Lawler of Kenosha, WI. Loving father to Dennis, Steve, Jeff, Debbie (Rick) DiCristina, Dave, Dan and Kim (and the late Carl) Skrzypek. Wonderful grandfather to Branden and Heather Reece, Bridgette Reece and Brittany (Brian) Nehf, Lyndsey Reece and Amy Reece Vigil, Rick (Mandy) DiCristina II, Mike (Lindsey) DiCristina and Nick DiCristina, Dan Reece Jr. and Kelly and Chris Skrzypek. Loving great grandfather to Kyle Gladfelter Jr. and Kache Schabel, Lexxi Reece and Gianna and Stevie Rosy, Joey and Johnny Nehf, Ricky and Benny DiCristina, Mikey, Madelynn, Anthony, Dominic and Frankie DiCristina. Fond Uncle to Kurt (Cathy) Lawler, the late Randi (nee Lawler) Bautch, Kim (Laura) Lawler, the late Scott, Jamie, Matt and Tom Lawler.
Clar was a Local # 597 Pipefitter until his retirement in 1989. He was a member and past president of St. Edward's Holy Name Society and the Holy Name's 'Man of the Year' in 1979. He was also a leader in St. Edward's Cub Scout Pack 3904 and their Boy Scouts Troop 904 for all five sons from 1960 to 1974. Clar loved coaching all the boys for St. Edward's Intramural Softball from 1960 to 1974. He had many fond memories of all his years teaching the youth thru scouting and sports. Clar was a man of few words, but he was always there with a helping hand when needed.
