Clarence Gene Richardson passed away 3-14-2025 at the age of 88. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Grace Mae Miller and Harlan Thomas Richardson. He was the sweetest, kindest most loving man to all his family and friends. His gentle hugs, bright smile and great head of hair will be missed tremendously.
Everybody knew him as "Gene." His weeks consisted of singing Karaoke at the Moose Lodge. Playing Bunco at his friend Johnny's house. Along with, playing slots and dinner at the VFW with his buddy, Mike. He was a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and car racing. Gene was a retired long haul truck driver. He also excelled at building hot rods as a teenager.
Gene is survived by his niece Gloria Carter;nephews Bob Fulcher and Randy Richardson; great-nieces Robin Hageman, Julie Griffin and Amber Morgan. Grand-daughter Rachael Dearing and her children.
He is preceded in death by his parents. His daughter Jeanie and his first love, her mother Barbara Jean. His 5 siblings. His niece Shirley Rhodes; nephews Wayne Richardson and Jerry Fulcher.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Thomas L Scroggs Funeral Directors at 11:00 am. There will be a visitation an hour prior. The interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens immediately after the Funeral Service.
