Funeral services for Ms. Clarinda Ann Polk will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Standing Pine Cerf Building with Rev. Shelly Peoples officiating. Interment will be in Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 PM Friday, August 29, 2025, at Standing Pine Cerf Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Polk, 58, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Her home in Leake County. She lived most of her life in the Standing Pine Community and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Her hobbies were spending time with family, listening to music and watching Law & Order. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Polk and Betty Anderson Polk; sister, Valentina Polk. Survivors include her daughters, Tilla Thomas and Tiara Wishork; sisters, Patsy Tubby, Revalene Hickman, Berdie John, Twana King; brother, Ethan Billie; (2) grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Roger Mayfield, Michael Wishork Jr., Larindo Ben Sr., Jeremiah Tubby, Carlos Ben Jr., Dustin Polk. Honorary pallbearers are Larindo Ben Jr., Braylon Wishork, Kayson Wishork.
