Obituary of Clarine Joyce Lanes
LANES (Wolfgram), Clarine "Casey" Joyce, age 87, passed away on March 31, 2025 with her family by her side. Casey was born August 13, 1937 on the family farm near Currie, MN. She was a 1955 graduate of Elgin High School and a 1956 graduate of Robinson Beauty School. She married Bruce in 1959, and they later settled in Anoka to raise their family. Casey was the heart of the family and was always there when you needed her. She ran an in-home daycare for 35 years and our house was the neighborhood hangout. She enjoyed sitting in the garage and waving at people, doing puzzles, playing cards & dominoes, hanging out with family and friends while having a margarita.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jim (Lori) Lanes of Maple Lake, Julie (Gary) Kroll of Remer, John (Patty) Lanes of Everett, WA, and Jeremy (Cassie) Craft of Princeton; grandchildren, Ryan Lanes of Farmington, Rachel (Caleb) Turner of Andover, and Whitney (Kenn) Glenn of Eagan; great grandchildren, Matthew, Mason, Preston, Payton, Naomi, Addison, Quentin, Micah, and Autumn; many relatives and good friends. Casey was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Lanes; son, Jody Lanes and grandson, Daniel Kroll. A Gathering in Remembrance will be held Saturday, April 5th 1-3pm, at JR's Outpost in Ramsey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ABC Food Shelf in Anoka.
