Jody Lanes Obituary

Jody was an avid traveler of the world and close to home. He visited every Minnesota State Park and was on his way to visiting every Presidential Library. At home he loved to use his smoker and host family and friends with way too much food.
He is survived by Mother Casey, siblings Jim (Lori), Julie (Gary), and John (Patty); 4 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Father Bruce. At Jody's request, no funeral will be held. A gathering in remembrance will be held at JR's Outpost (Ramsey) on November 2nd, 2024, at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ACBC Food Shelf (Anoka), Alexandria House (Blaine) or MPR Radio (St. Paul).

I'm so sorry to hear about Jody passing. I loved doing his hair and hearing all his fun stories of traveling and the food he grilled and smoked with his "roommate".

One thing I remember about Jody is a beer brat cookout at his apartment in Mounds View. I worked with Jody at MultiTech.
