William Clark Combs, 86, of Red House passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He was a Christian and a U.S. Air Force Korean Conflict Veteran. Clark spent several years working as an electrician for Tru Temper and later for the Charleston Housing Authority.
He was the son of the late Bob Combs and Norvella "Mudder" Combs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angelia Combs; brothers, Ray, Eugene and Ancil; sister, Eloise "Sis."
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Denise Combs; children, Teresa Mullins Coleman of Wilmington NC, Rik (Cassie) Combs of Canton OH, Mark (Janice) Combs of Myrtle Beach SC, Cecelia "CeeCee" Painter of Myrtle Beach SC, Charity (Jeremy) Luikart of Red House, Crissy (Eric) Leadman of Milton, Clark Combs of Cherokee NC and Norvella (Justin) Rutan of Red House. Clark is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday July 25, 2022 at Raynes Funeral Home, Eleanor with Pastor Leonard Kessell officiating. Burial will follow in Beane Cemetery, Sissonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
