Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark on May 15, 2024.
Clark Lee Latimer, age 67 of Nixa, Missouri passed away, Monday evening, May 13, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 19, 1956 in Springfield, Missouri the son of John and Samantha (Brown) Latimer.

Whether it was floating down a river or in a canoe or fishing on the lake he loved the water! Clark loved NHRA Racing, hanging out in his shop and spending time with his family. Clark was always around to help a friend and loved it when his buddies stopped by to have a cold one. As Clark would often say "Everyday is a holiday and every meal is a buffet, and the main thing is not to get excited."
Clark was preceded in death by his parents. He is lovingly survived by his two daughter Tiffany Eggleston and husband Jarrad and Jessica Knactal and husband Dan; two honorary sons Kaleb Whorton and Eric Latimer; six grandchildren Haden Wammack, Conner Knactal, Hallie Wammack, Emmalin Eggleston, Hoyt Wammack and Nolan Eggleston; two brothers Wayne Latimer and Steve Latimer and wife Lorie; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Following Clark's wishes a private family funeral with burial in Springfield was held under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Clark and I spent many days afield following our bird dogs and enjoying the outdoor world. We were suited for each other because we always tried our best to be on time and showed a great respect for the traditions of the hunt. We shared many things in common raising our girls and swapping stories about old times. As we grew older we shared a saying when we talked," LIFE IS GOOD ". God Bless you Clark, Adios my old compadre

My heart is sad. Clark was friends with my brother Steve Byrd. He was always at our house when I was young. We loved him so much.

As young kids and 1st cousins, I always looked forward to playing games with Clark when we would go to Springfield from the farm. He was always a great person. We reunited our ties when I loved to Nixa in the mid 90´s. Still a nice guy. So sorry for your loss.
