Clarke Elliott David

Clarke Elliott David, 92, of Montgomery, Texas, passed from this life on December 1, 2025. He was born on February 27, 1933, to Stanley and Verna David in Warren, Pennsylvania.
Clarke was married to his beloved wife, Joan R. MacQueen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania whom he met while working at his first assignment at the Gulf Oil Philadelphia Refinery. He was a graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and had a distinguished career with the Gulf Oil Corporation and Chevron Corporation.
Clarke was an avid golfer who golfed up until the months preceding his passing. He shot or beat his age on the golf course 17 of the last 20 years, last accomplishing this feat at age 90. He also loved dogs and was active with dog rescue and shelter work.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan, and his son, Gary David. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Jeff and Sherry David, Scott and Kimberly David, and his five grandchildren Stephanie David, Rachel David, Elliott David, Quinlan David, and Marideth David; as well as many beloved extended family members and friends.
Clarke will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and generous spirit. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
