Claude "C.W." Driver Obituary
Boonville – Claude “C.W.” Wilson Driver, 84, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025. He was born October 9, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Lonnie Franklin Driver and Lessie Combs Driver. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers and their wives, Albert (Peggy) Driver, Junior (Helen) Driver, Henry (Margaret) Driver; sisters and their husbands, Lorene (Thad) Murphy, Katie (Robert) Hollyfield, Dorothy (Junior) Weldy. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Hamlin Driver; children, Steve Driver, Jill Driver Perkins; grandson, Lucas (Rebecca Ladd) Perkins; sister, Inez (Ted) Tilley; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Stephen Evans. Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Driver family.
